最近貓王推薦了一張獨立夢幻選輯《ROUGH TRADE FOR INDIE》，真的是大開眼界的好聽! 真的可以說是聽過最好聽的合輯之一!

為了慶祝Rough Trade這個音樂廠牌的30周年，雙CD中集合了精挑細選出來的三十首經典之作，絕對會是回味再三的優異選輯! 在這選輯中除了大家熟知的團，ex: The Libertines、Jarvis Cocker、Islands、Belle & Sebastian，其餘之中，最喜歡Albert Hammond, Jr和Super Furry Animals他們的音樂~

Albert Hammond Jr.的老爹過去是知名的鄉村民謠歌手，在繼承了父親出色的音樂基因，於2000年初成為The Strokes樂團陣中的吉他手開始走向成名之路。The Strokes以New Wave Punk的音樂風格贏得樂迷的注意，但小Albert Hammond於06年發行的個人首張新作《Yours To Keep》卻是以流暢輕快的indie-pop風格主導而成，受到許多樂評高分讚賞。

專輯中的一首〈In Transit〉更是極品! 簡潔輕快的旋律，奔放爽朗的鼓點，輔以灑脫歌詞助興，架構出來的輕鬆迷人的風格，證明了Albert Hammond Jr.高明的譜曲功力!

再來是Super Furry Animals !

在聆聽選輯中這首《Run Away》之前，請先大力撇開專輯封面這檔事，希望這古怪的封面不要影響聽這首的心情! (老實說，超多毛動物只有首張和第二張專輯比較正常，接下來的封面根本就是一系列的…………難以形容)

成軍十多載的威爾斯老團Super Furry Animals，各張專輯幾乎都為水準之作，在極為另類的怪異封面包裝下，已透露他們另類的音樂走向。

《Run Away》在主唱Gruff Rhys老派的唱腔下，有著獨特的節奏旋律跟隨著，骨子裡藏著的是道地的britpop吶! 尚未看歌詞和MV之前，光聽音樂原以為是個典型的傾訴內心的呢喃歌曲，看了MV之後差點沒有岔氣，基本上是一個完全惡搞的MV阿!! 哈哈哈~ 在副歌重複唱著run away時搭配的畫面，不就正是在台灣KTV會出現的你歌伴唱帶嗎? XD

將古怪的專輯封面、惡搞的MV放一邊，《Run Away》的確是帶著流暢吉他旋律的好歌~

The Horrors /《Primary Colours》最近以來聽的最順耳的唱片之一。

來自英國的他們，07年推出他們的首張專輯《Strange House》，那時已經驚艷到許多人的耳朵，但那時還不認識他們，等到今年推出第二張專輯《Primary Colours》，一聽便著迷!

首支序曲《Mirror’s Image》根本就是Joy Division大復活吶! 緩緩的開場，刻意的營造神秘氣氛充滿空間，滋滋滋的噪音若有似無的浮現。主唱Faris Badwan的嗓音極搭著旋律前進，陣陣扭曲的吉他音牆極為出色，跟隨至曲末意猶未盡的不想結束。

怎麼最近這類低沉、又厚又黑的噪音這樣吸引人? 像是前輩們的靈魂附身般的捲土重來。

Jarvis Cocker – Further Complications

我可以說買下這張唱片有四分之三的衝動，都是為了這張海報阿!!!
Jarvis真的是最有喜感的Rock n Roll Star了! 哈哈哈!

到公館大眾尋覓賈伯的身影，結果在架上只發現第一張專輯，不死心的向店員詢問，結果店員好像完全不知道今天是上架日 Orz…

正要轉身回家，樓梯走到二樓店員就下來攔住我!!! 原來賈伯和海報正躺著箱子裡阿阿阿!! 所以我就成了這家店第一個拿到Jarvis的人!!

興奮之餘，馬上拍了照!! (一定要的!!)

實在不知道該怎樣形容Raveonettes，我順著心理的感覺寫。

自從聽了Lust Lust Lust這張專輯之後，簡直像是著了魔一樣，Lust旋律像襲捲著誘惑的音符，近乎肆虐地滲入腦海中。潛入腦中的Lust黑色煙霧，像有生命地四面八方擴散，麻痺你每一個腦細胞，Wagner和Foo兩條極搭的聲線不停的往前交叉環繞，shoegaze的氛圍漸漸靠攏的一層一層堆疊上來，等待進入核心，埋了噪音音牆在裡頭爆發…!

這是毒藥呀…還極其猛烈的…

Sune Rose Wanger與Sharin Foo極簡單的二重唱組合，糅合瞪鞋、噪音、indie的完美搭配，如果說是黃金比例也不為過。但他們的音樂一點也不如黃金般金光閃閃，從頭到尾幾乎都籠罩著黑色的迷幻煙霧，途中跳出的《Dead Sound》試圖帶些輕鬆的花草進來，但歌名早已透露這是死之聲了。

晦暗的詞。

這是極適合於黑夜中聆聽的唱片，你以為封面單調簡單，其實它暗中已經告訴你聽完這張唱片，產生的幻覺會讓你眼神極度失焦!  so…趁半夜聽吧，最好還混合大量的酒精和菸，一開始就隨著Aly走進去，追隨他們的序曲吧。

專輯中第三首《Lust》，後來聽到他們live的acoustic演唱，不禁又再次折服他們一次呀…不帶電的Lust似乎更能悄悄貼近人心，黑色的迷霧散了一點，光聽有點像要破曉的黎明…

是折衷的灰，那樣。

Envy & Other Sins讓專輯的最終曲《Shipwrecked》(落難) 得以平安歸航。

失落、不安不足以成為離開的理由，只有信念唯真。黑白冷調的MV畫面與這首歌極為搭調，一字一句的唱和成為影像的隱藏字幕。

貫穿黑夜白晝…不離不棄絕不是傻子專有行為。

不要忽略了Oasis陣中常常默默在旁邊帥氣刷吉他的Gem，大家可能對他陌生了點，這次藉由五個問題的小訪談，試著多了解他一些!

Prior to joining Oasis, Gem Archer had his shining hour as a head of Heavy Stereo, a band that joined the second line during the 90’s Brit pop. And he also worked with Paul Weller, his adolescence hero.

I grew up listening to The Jam: it was my adolescence band and I am convinced that Paul Weller is one of the greatest. Only being by his side inspires you and frees you to give the best of yourself. And the best part is that he’s always changing direction, trying new things, he never stays still, and he’s fifty years-old. He is the only guy that can be admired by two people as different as Noel Gallagher and Robert Wyatt.

When you listen to music, what format do you prefer: vinyl, CD or MP3?

Every time I’m at home I listen to vinyl, the sound is insuperable. For example, today I had a very spiritual and soulful morning with Reverend Al Green and Ray Charles, and their voices in vinyl are top.

The British press usually boost an artist as soon as they release an album, and then they abandon them. What do think about it?

The press, and even more the English one, always boost an artist, mainly because that’s their job, they always worked that way. ¿Are you telling me a band like Good Charlotte is as good as they say? If at least they’d boost someone like Jimi Hendrix! (laughs)
新聞界，甚至是整個英國，總愛催促歌手，主要原因我想可能因為這就是他們的工作。你告訴我，像Good Charlotte這樣的樂團有像他們說的一樣好嗎? 至少他們應該標榜imi Hendrix! (笑)

What’s true about Noel’s statements on Oasis stopping for five years?
有關Noel說Oasis將會停擺五年，這是真的嗎?

I haven’t talk to Noel about that subject. Please note that the source is The Sun, so you always should doubt about it. But what I do can say is that we are in a time of the tour in which we feel like stopping, missing the kids and all that.
我沒和Noel談論此事。請注意，這是”The Sun”的來源，所以你應該要懷疑這真實性。但是我能說的是，在這漫長的巡迴中想歇一會、想念孩子親人們等這類的情緒。

你們一九九八來香港時我有在現場!

N: Oh were you? Was a shit gig, wasn’t it?
哦 你有去? 那是個爛演唱，不是嗎?

It was great…
那場很正點耶…

N: (cuts in) I don’t bloody think so! From what I remember we were awful….but it’s gonna be much worse tonight I think!
我不這麼認為! 我記得我們很可怕…但我想今晚我們會更糟糕的!

Oh why’d you say that?
噢 為什麼你要這樣說?

N: See for yourself – you’d know.
你自己看著辦-你會懂的。

I loved the first part of the There and Then video. I still remember how at the end of The Swamp Song Liam walked on and shouted Acquiesece to the mic, while you striked the chords to kickstart the gig. It was unforgettable. Amazing.
我很愛There and Then一開始的部分! 我到現在還記得Liam在《The Swamp Song》要結束的時候，對著mic大喊Acquiesece，你接著就刷吉他開始了這場演唱會。這真令人難忘! 很驚人的表演!

N: Hmm that sure was a good show.

What do you think tonight’s gig is gonna be like?
那你覺得今晚的演唱會會是怎樣的?

N: I think it’d be interesting! Our lead singer is in a funny mood now and we’re probably gonna have a car crash tonite. I never try to predict anything. You know there’s so much shit in life you’re gonna be dragged down if you set your hopes too high, right? What I know is I’m gonna be brilliant, but I can’t control the crowd to sing along, or clap or anything…I’ll just make sure that I play well and sing well, that’s what I’ll try to do.
會蠻有意思的! 我們主唱現在沒什麼心情，我們今晚可能會車禍吧! 我從不試著預測任何事，你懂的，生活上有太多狗屁事，如果你期望太高你就會摔的越重，對吧? 我知道我會表現的耀眼，但是我不能控制其他傢伙…我只會試著把自己的表現做到最好，那就是我該做的。

How do you prepare yourself for a show even when you know you’re not at your best?

N: That’s a difficult question…You don’t really need to be in a good mood to play a gig you know. For me it’s always do it first, and worry later, yeah.
這是個困難的問題…你知道嗎? 你不會真的需要在好心情下才能去做這場演出。對我來說，就是先做了再說，擔心先擺後面吧。

Sometimes I feel so inconfident on stage.
有時候我在台上會感覺有些沒自信。

N: Why? What’s the worst thing that can happen?

Like, your monitor goes quiet, and all sorts of things…

N: I don’t use a monitor. Never. Just shut it down, man.

N: I only need one when I need to sing, rest of the time I’d switch it off and just listen with me ears. I mean what’s the worst thing that can happen? People might get up and leave, big deal!
我只在當我唱歌的時候用到，其餘時間我會關掉它，用自己的耳朵去聆聽。我的意思是，會有什麼鳥事發生呢? 大不了就是觀眾會站起來走人!

Not able to hear anything from the monitor…that freaks me out.

N: So what? You should know what you’re playing anyway. Even if I can’t hear anything, I’d still know how to play a song! You’re never gonna, and you should never, never try to play a song as it sounds on the record! I’m never bothered with with that.

Where do you get your inspirations from?

N: Man, I dunno. It just comes. I was not trained to be a musician or lyricist or anything like that. You just pick up the guitar and it’d come. I don’t know where that’s from. It just happens.

N: I don’t think like that. You should just get the sound right. It’s to do with What I do and Who I am and not Who YOU are. I think if I like something then someone else would probably agree it’s good as well.
我不會想這問題。你應該關心該怎麼把聲音搞好，該做的是”我該做什麼”、”看清自己”，而不是想你該是怎樣的人。我覺得假如我喜歡某些事，那一定也會有人同意我喜歡的事。

You mentioned in an interview that you liked this song Magic Colours by a 70s Hong Kong musician called Teddy Robins. It happens that Dig Out Your Soul is very psychedelic sounding as well. Did you get you inspirations from there somehow?
你曾在一訪問中提到，你喜歡《Magic Colours》這首歌，是由七零年代的香港音樂人Teddy Robins所作。DOYS聽起來非常迷幻，你有從這首歌得到任何靈感嗎?

N: I got this record called Love, Peace and Poetry in a record shop in London which was supposed to be a 60s psychedelic record from Asia. I thought there might be some good stuff in there and that track, Magic Colours, it fxxking blew me away! A bit like Jimi Hendrix or something, probably one of the best thing I’ve ever heard! But no I didn’t get my inspirations from there, at least I probably don’t play guitar as good as he does.

Are you familiar with other Asian music?

N: No to be honest I don’t know anything about the music here. I’d listen to stuff from the US, India, Germany, Sweden and France though.

I got into Oasis since WSTMG, and I was crazy about it, singing Don’t look back in anger with my twin brother all the time…

N: You have a twin brother? Is he in the same band as you?

N: I still am.

…well our band is sort of from the working level as well. We’re still struggling. Do you have any things to say to young people and musicians here, cos most young people would just spend their time playing video games and stuff…

N: That’s what it’s about these days isn’t it? In my days, people were into music like people are into video games now. If they want to sit in front of a computer all day long…then they could try to make some music on the computer. In fact, the guitar is one of the most difficult thing you can learn in the world. It’s much easier with a computer. I started playing the guitar becos I had nothing better to do. My life was really shit.

And it took me around 15 years to really learn how to play it well. Even now I’m still spending all my time learning things about the guitar…compared to that…video games are much, much easier.

You know it’s a wonderful thing to be…with music. Whether you’re just singing it or playing it…it’s all brilliant. But it’s hard to get other people into music though, you have to try it and see if you’d like it.

So do you really not use a computer?

N: No I don’t. Tell you what, there was this time I was at home and my missus went out, leaving the computer on in the kitchen. So she called me and asked me to shut it down for her and I said “alright”. Then I went into the kitchen and I found out I didn’t know how to bloody turn it off! So I just unplugged the thing from the socket, you know?! Then she came back and found out and was mad at me, saying how I was an idiot or something…But then you can live your life so so many years without using a computer, so I don’t think I’d need one. I can’t drive, can’t swim, but I’m doing alright.
我真的不會，跟你說，有一次我待在家而我老婆出門的時候忘記關電腦，所以他打電話回來叫我去幫她關機，我說”沒問題”。但接著我走進廚房，找到那部電腦，但是我他媽的不知道怎麼關掉它!! 所以你知道嗎? 我就直接把插頭拔掉!! 等到她回家之後，發現這件事就對我發火，說我怎麼可以這麼愚蠢之類的…但是你不用電腦一樣可以生活阿，所以我不覺得我需要電腦。我不會開車，我也不會游泳，但我還是好好的。

Don’t you think the Internet can let you see more of the world?
你不覺得網路可以讓你知道世界更多消息嗎?

N: Nah I’m not having that…What I mean is, I’d get up and go there if I want to be somewhere, you know what I mean?
我的意思是，如果我想去什麼地方，我就起身然後出發，你懂我的意思嗎?

Do you not use a computer to record demos either?
你從沒使用電腦來錄製demo嗎?

N: I don’t do demos. I’d just play something and sing, keep it in my head, then go straight into the studio. Sometimes I think all this stuff on the Internet aren’t really real, like you can’t really know what Hong Kong is like with a single click. You have to be there to feel it. I think the kids might find it useful, how they can search stuff when they need it…but I come from a different time, I don’t need to know how much does a tiger fxxking weight, how many nails an elephant’s got or how many bricks was The Great Wall of China build with, you know? That’s got nothing whatsoever with how I live my life now… but I know, kids are into that sort of stuff.
我不錄demo的。我就只彈奏吉他然後唱和，旋律就在我腦海成型，接著就直接進錄音室。有時候我會覺得在網路上的東西很不真實，就像你壓一下按鍵你沒辦法真的知道香港是什麼，你必須真的到那邊去感受。也許孩子們會覺得他很有用，他們可以上網找他們想要的東西…但是我是不同時代的人，我不會需要知道有怎麼量老虎該死的體重，長城建造要幾塊磚頭，你懂嗎? 它們跟我現在的生活一點都沒關係…但是我知道，孩子們很熱衷在上面。

With Dig Out Your Soul the critics in general have said your music has changed.
DOYS發行之後，樂評們普遍都說你做的音樂有些改變了。

N: Well, critics are always inventing new languages aren’t they? For me, I speak a totally different language and I only write songs that I like myself. I’m not a person for change – I play the guitar and do rock music, and I’m not into jazz, heavey metal, reggae, R&B, hip-hop and I’m not gonna write an opera about monkeys. At the end of the day, what critics say doesn’t affect me. I ain’t gonna change.
唔，樂評不是都愛編造出新的詞彙嗎? 對我來說，我傳達的是完全不一樣的語言，我只寫我自己愛的音樂。我不是一個為了改變而改變的人 – 我彈奏吉他並做搖滾樂，我不會喜歡Jazz、重金屬、hip-hop之類的音樂，我也不會想做有關猴子的歌劇。到目前為止，樂評不管說什麼都不會影響到我，我不會做任何改變。

There’re a few Liam’s tunes on the album – do you like his music?

N: I like Liam’s songs. The best part in his entire character is music. The rest of him is a fxxking nightmare! But his music is great. I’d listen to it.
我喜歡Liam做的歌曲。他整個人最棒的地方就是音樂了，除了音樂之外…簡直就是該死的惡夢! 不過他的音樂真的很棒! 我會聽他的歌。

Half of the songs on this album weren’t written by you (Noel corrects: “You could have said ‘you wrote half the album by yourself!’”), would the next Oasis album be like that as well?
專輯中有一半的歌曲不是你寫的 (Noel糾正記者: 你可以說’你寫了專輯一半的歌曲’)，下一張的綠洲專輯也是會這樣嗎?

N: Yeah, I’d like that. But it’s the producer who decides what songs go in there and what not. If he says seven of my songs make it, then seven it would be.

Ever considered letting Andy and Gem do vocals?

N: What, asking them to sing? That’d be taking the piss! Andy and Gem are great musicians. In fact Gem sings well but they’re not born-to-be-singers. I just think they don’t have enough of that confidence in them still.

What would break up Oasis? Sibling rivalry doesn’t seem like it.

N: I don’t know? Getting bald, fat, someone dies or I get bored? I don’t see Oasis splitting up to be honest…just the gap between albums might get longer, cos we need to save up a lot of energy for each release. I’d say we still have another 15 years in us. I don’t see anyone wanting to retire either. We like our music, so I think Oasis will keep going.
我也不曉得會是什麼原因造成拆夥? 變成禿頭?變肥仔?有人葛屁了?還是有人厭倦了? 我不會看見Oasis的分裂…但是專輯之間也許會經歷更久的時間才發行，因為我們需要儲存更多的能量來應付每一次的專輯的推出。我們還會再經歷另一個15年。我沒看到有人想要提早退休的，我們喜歡自己的音樂，所以我覺得Oasis會一直持續走下去。

Can you sum up Oasis’ music in one word?
你能用一個單字來概括Oasis的音樂嗎?

N: No I don’t think you can ever do that man, not even in one sentence. I could say “Rock n’ Roll” but…I think we’re one of the only two real bands left on this planet. U2 doesn’t do some type of music, they do U2 music, and we’re like that, we’d only do Oasis music. But if I have to describe Oasis music in one word, it would be “brilliant”!

You said you won’t write pop songs with catchy melodies anymore.

N: No I didn’t say that. What I meant was I don’t give a shit about the charts anymore. I used to be obsessed with the charts, but then I found out I don’t care any longer. Once you’ve been at no.1 it just gets boring. Like when we signed to Sony years ago I thought we were gonna be the greatest band in the world, but ever since that contract is finished, I no longer cared about sales or chart positions. I just need to make music that I like.

N: I have produced several records but nothing came of of that…I’d still want to produce records for bands that I like though, like Coldplay. They’ve got their own stuff and I’ve seen them live many times. They’re brilliant. (Anyone in particular you’d want to work with then?) No…my ambition stays inside Oasis. I wouldn’t find myself saying “Hey, you know what?! I’d LOVE to work with 50 Cent!!”. Nah…my hands are full with Oasis already.

Any plans for a solo record?

N: No I don’t have plans for that right now, no. Everyone’s writing songs at Oasis and we’re sitting on a pile of like 30 songs with some great b-sides that we haven’t yet put out…I wonder they’ll ever get done actually, may be a fxxking double record after I die or something!

Do you still buy music?

N: Yeah I’d still go to a record shop to buy music. I wouldn’t change that cos I don’t have a computer. I know people out there are against downloading and stuff…but that’s unfortunately just the way it is. I was trying to get into it before and thought about buying a computer… (You still don’t own one?) No, never have, you know? I have an iPod, but that you can put it in your pocket and fxxking carry it around. For God’s sake, I’ve spent 11 years learning to use my mobile!

N: I do it with my mobile and someone at the office helps out. I just text them and they’ll put it on the computer for me.

Any serious after effects from the Toronto attack?
在多倫多的攻擊事件之後，你有嚴肅的看待嗎?

N: No. The only thing that’s changed is we don’t let people on stage anymore. The security is gonna get you. It didn’t really affect me though…physically I’d still feel the pain…afterall I spent 8 weeks recovering from that…and I do feel a bit intimidated every time I come on stage. But you know…(getting pushed) it beats being in a plane crash, you know what I mean?

About the cancelled gigs in Beijing and Shanghai. They were supposedly cancelled because of what you said about Tibet (Noel: yeah it saved us a whole week), have you learnt any lessons on that?

N: No. The Chinese government is not happy with something I said like 12 years ago, but I don’t remember fxxk all about anything I said 12 years ago! Now obviously, communists have long memories. Anyway, not letting us play there is some sort of an insult to me. I’ve never been to China! But you know, whatever, that’s the way world politics is, you’re just some guy playing music on this world and you get involved with it. No I haven’t learnt any lessons, may be not to get involved with monks!

Kasabian終於要發他們史上第三張專輯了! 將於今年六月八日發行，專輯名稱為《West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum》。

用史上這個字眼好像是有點吹捧，但我就是衷心的盼望他們能在英搖史上名垂千古阿! 身為近年來新崛起英搖愛團之一，他們重製復古的能力好到讓人讚不絕口，Great! 完全是因為這點才深得我心!

以殺人魔為團名的Kasabian，這次首發的新單曲《Vlad the Impaler》，和團名恰好相互呼應! 弗拉德穿心魔（Vlad the Impaler，1431-1476），原名德古拉，是個歐洲中古世紀殘酷變態的惡魔，在還沒聽懂歌詞之前，光看MV已經讓人毛骨悚然、不舒服的雞皮疙瘩掉滿地! 恐怖雖恐怖，但我好愛MV中Vlad的造型! 古世紀吸血鬼look超正點!

歌詞裡描述弗拉德穿心魔的自白，以前的中古歐洲好像很愛用燒人來解決魔怪女巫之類的，MV最後被眾人放火圍剿，歌詞前段還自述被丟入大鍋烹死! (被大鍋油炸還能說話? 果然是惡魔黨的!)

聽完幾遍新單曲，心想這回Kasabian可是以最棒的狀態進攻，決不是一般的鳥single。新歌復古旋律依舊，雖然歌詞令人畏懼，但歌曲節奏卻意外的令人放鬆，disco似的鼓點讓人想來段機械舞，暗藏在音樂旋律裡的可能是希冀顛覆一切的意識!

頭子居然以為我們崇拜蛇?? XDD 是Gem跑去和Noel亂造謠嗎? 哈哈哈! 感覺頭子很害怕台北呀，軟綿綿的演唱會地板、爆多的機車、蛇，好像對這些驚驚!

Andy Bell以後乾脆來台灣吃齋念佛好了 :p 而且台灣有很多素食餐廳哦!

追隨Oasis十年，2009年4月3日 – 綠洲台北演唱會，我終於達成我的夢想。回想昨晚不可思議的一夜，到現在還是覺得非常不真實。

從漫長的排隊到1976暖場這段時間裡，儘管到處可見醒目的Oasis台北演唱會的標語，每個人談論的話題也都圍繞著綠洲，但是腦子裡仍然無法說動自己相信…追隨十年的Gallaghers即將出現在我眼前。時間繼續倒數，當熟悉的Fuckin’ In The Bushes開場音樂響起，我終於驚醒地意識到，我確確實實真的在綠洲的場子裡頭! 就站在搖滾區前排，這可不是夢!

忠實的紀錄每一首歌給我的感動，文字或許看來平淡，但是每首歌帶給我的回憶可是好幾年份的重量! 當我以後再回頭看這篇文章時，我能深刻的回憶起四月三日給我的滿滿感動。

《Rock’ N’ Roll Star》
Tonight, I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star
這首道地的Oasis國歌，正式揭開綠洲在台灣歷史性的演唱! 當看到Liam大搖大擺的和Noel、Andy、Gem走出來，我的雙眼已完全離不開他。
他是活跳跳的Our Kid?! 居然和DVD裡的姿勢一模一樣! 這是怎麼回事? 我瞬間還以為我在看大型的youtube電視牆!! 我的天! 我不管這只是開場，我用盡全力的和大家齊唱，也奮力大聲吶喊著”Liam”!! 到了讓全場綠洲迷瘋狂的一句「 Tonight, I’m a Rock ‘n’ Roll Star!」，我已經激動的不能自己，整個飆淚!

《Lyla》

So what dyou say Lyla?
被fans戲稱為”來了”的《Lyla》，繼續衝刺著開場的高潮! 心裡開心的笑著這有趣的梗，邊跳邊笑的聽著歌! 看著Liam的招牌站姿、看著頭子默默的刷著吉他、看著Andy低調的撥絃、看著Gem帥氣的模樣，看著新任股手Chris高超的鼓技，我努力的用雙眼記住這不可思議的一切，這些畫面必須讓我回憶至少一百萬次才足夠!

You gotta make it happen!
《Cigarettes & Alcohol》毫無疑問的榮登演唱會排名金曲前幾名，這首經典名曲，就像導火線一樣的點燃大家體內炸彈! 唱到一半的時候有個小插曲，Liam對著音控指著會場後方，又指自己的耳朵，不曉得在抱怨什麼? 是會場的迴音太大?

《Waiting For The Rapture》
Well heaven must’ve sent ya
To save me for the rapture
作為Noel演唱會中的第一首演唱，《Waiting For The Rapture》在Noel心中的地位肯定不小。雖然頭子離我老遠，但努力伸長脖子的我還是仔細端詳了Noel，身掛近年的最愛Gibson ES-355，越老越帥的頭子，散發一股成熟男人的氣質。《Waiting For The Rapture》重重的強勁節拍，狠狠撼動整顆心臟，Noel的聲音狀況真好! (感覺比Liam好上一些)

《The Masterplan》
Bring them back with Acquiesce
On a ship of hope today
《The Masterplan》理所當然的佔據催淚第二曲! 輕聲和Noel合唱，回想這一個月來的漫天謠言，最終綠洲還是來到台灣… 歌詞裡的:「Life on the other hand won’t let you understand. Why we’re all part of the masterplan.」不就是最好的回應?

《Songbird》
She’s not anyone
期待已久的Liam輕鬆小品! 輕快的吉他伴奏，心情好到都要飛起來變sonbird了!

《Slide Away》

《Slide Away》是我最愛的綠洲歌詞之一! 它描述了瘋狂追求的一段過程。我特別喜歡現場Liam唱”chasing the sun”這一句，很有味道!

我會永遠記得這是地板最晃的一首歌! 軟綿綿的地板在大家狂跳的撼動之下，都快變成波浪了! 身為Oasis最熱血的歌之一，《Morning Glory》帶我回到初次聽這首歌時，隨著直昇機螺旋槳聲音而起飛，現場居然也聽到螺旋槳運轉的聲音! High翻了我! 大聲激動的對著旁邊說: 是”Morning Glory”!!! 神經的深怕有人不知道一樣!!

每次聽到這首歌，絕對會聯想到有Rhys Ifans的黑色喜感MV。今天的頭子看起來好憂鬱，他一直以來都靜靜的待在屬於他的角落，以前Liam還會去煩他，看了最近幾場live都沒和Liam在台上互動… Noel雖然沉靜，但看往台上看去，感覺他身上發散種內斂的光芒。

《I’m Outta Time》

就連我也感到很不可思議，一首無比新的歌，能比的上經典國歌還催淚?! 這場第三首催淚歌，落在《I’m Outta Time》身上。假使昨晚樂團的背後有電視牆的話，一定會映上John Lenon的照片，不曉得兩側的大銀幕有沒有出現? 這首是Oasis有史以來我覺得最悲傷的歌曲了，僅次於《Stop Crying Your Heart Out》… 凝視著Liam，全身一陣一陣的麻痺…

《Wonderwall》

又是團結的大合唱! 力度直逼莎莉阿!

《Supersonic》

聽到Liam說這是今晚最後一首歌，我可一點都不擔心! 我知道後面還會出現什麼戲碼。雖然我自己破了驚喜，但一點也沒影響到我的心情! 《Supersonic》像是高潮後的產物，如今晚一樣，被Oasis電的酥麻麻的，超樂!

《Don’t Look Back In Anger》

今晚的壓軸重頭戲! 跟想像中的一樣，頭子將這首歌達成與我們歌迷之間最棒的互動，在各國都是! 排山倒海的大合唱，不知道有沒有感動到他們? 雖然後面弱了一段，真怕Noel對我們印象不好… 但是我們已經很熱情的呼應他們了! 他們一定能感受到! 《Don’t Look Back In Anger》可以說是我真正完成夢想的終點站，這首歌的合唱不曉得已經在我腦海裡排練了多少萬遍，最後等的就是這一刻! 綿密的綠洲神秘力量在我們歌迷人海間傳導，匯聚所有的能量向綠洲致上最完美的敬意!

《Champagne Supernova》的前奏響起，提醒我們美夢還是有完結的一刻。我再一次仔細瞧了每一個團員，我細細的記下他們最棒的表情，不需刻意烙印，他們會自然地深深落在我腦海最深刻的記憶區。

《I Am The Walrus》

近年來綠洲都是用這首來閉幕，這就是他們對Beatles、Lenon獻上的最高敬意吧! Liam在曲末結束，拆下Mic”指定”送給台下一位歌迷。oh GOD! 那個老兄還是女孩，我徹底的嫉妒你!

今天，我真實的看到那在台上大搖大擺、散發霸氣、睥睨著台下的傢伙 － Liam Gallagher。這個曾說過「神是個不錯職業」的男人，他的確是我心中的搖滾之神，我永遠虔誠的信仰他。在他的舞台，他手扠腰後，有時揣在他那極好看的軍綠色風衣口袋裡，他微彎著身擺出他十年如一日的招牌站姿，斜著頭一字一句的唱著他們一路來的經典歌曲。

頭子Noel今天感覺抑鬱低調，跟訪問時健談的他相比，似乎有點落寞。不曉得他對台灣是怎麼想?
位置和他遙遙相望，沒辦法看到他所有的動作表情。在面對舞台的右前方黃金區，應該是得到頭子的許可證，兩支搖鈴和Mic都是往這邊送… 好吧，我確實是嫉妒拿到搖鈴的人，希望你們會把它當作傳家寶。

在日本、南韓演唱贈送的Whatever或是Live Forever這兩個bonus，在台灣都沒有出現，小遺憾吶!

在我走出會場的那一刻，其實有一股莫名的空虛湧上，簡直就像嗑藥過後的茫然。演唱會怎麼會這麼快就結束…? 我領了海報，呆坐在門口，頭腦倒帶迴轉剛剛不可思議的每一幕，他們確實在眼前表演了一場夢寐以求的演出。

不要忘了，Oasis還對我們說了”See you next time!” 這夢真的還有可能會再一次出現，我深信不疑。

今天是來朝聖的。
縱使這邊不是英國，更不是曼徹斯特。

前陣子E丟了三張專輯給我聽，我已經忘了其他兩張是哪張了，但Mew這張原本初聽感覺普通，但現在卻已經完全烙印在腦海裡。

來自丹麥的Mew，承襲北歐樂團那樣的搖滾氣息，我不願意幫他們貼標籤，但Mew的音樂實在’英搖’，聆聽越久就越能發現這是屬於我CD牆上的音樂。主唱Jonas很女聲，一開始還真的以為主唱是女性，後來E告訴我是男生，還感覺非常不可思議。獨特的嗓音，演譯專輯內各自類型的歌曲，顯得非常獨特。

《Comforting Sounds》這支單曲來自於2003年的專輯《Frengers》中。這個很有意思的單字，是Mew的獨創，代表著friends與strangers的結合，中文的歌名也取的很棒，稱作「陌生的友人」。

這張專輯的每一首歌都很動聽，編排非常完整的唱片，接連十首一路聽下來，到第九首的時候，甚至會有一種太過飽和而喘不過氣的感覺，但完美的最終章《Comforting Sounds》倏地把浮躁的心安撫下來。長達近九分鐘的樂章，前半段緩緩，接著慢慢飄升，最終一次將內心的積蓄的能量一次後搖式的爆開，純粹器樂的彈奏，一層一層的迴圈包圍，非但不會嫌它冗長，還可能流著淚喊安可。

MV的曲長雖有縮減，但畫面與聲音的搭配之下，讓人加快融入於劇情之中。前段看著Jonas輕輕的唱著，揭開他的內心，頗與歌詞呼應；後半段爆發之際，每個人看著樂團成員奮力的彈奏，不曉得是對於什麼的補償?

看完頭子的專訪，我腦中只有一個感想，那就是，「話真多」。
Noel真的是能言善道到一個不行，小小的問題，都快變演講了，真是夠了，哈哈哈!
內容講述了一些有關新專輯的事，還有些關於hip hop、Jay-Z的插曲。

He may not be Oasis’ frontman — that’d be his little brother Liam — but Noel Gallagher has never been afraid to shoot off his mouth. “Ten years ago we told everyone with a mic we were the greatest thing ever,” he says. “Now we just quietly believe it.”

A beaming Noel Gallagher strolls across the floor of a North London photo studio enthusing about a new and exciting phase of his life, looking lean and reasonably healthy in every­bloke casualwear: blue checked shirt, jeans, and desert boots. It’s not just that he has a seventh Oasis album, Dig Out Your Soul, ready for release or that he has spent a morning playing with his one­year­old son, Donovan, whom he describes as “an absolute diamond.” It’s the fact that he has started sleepwalking.
Noel愉快的在北倫敦攝影工作室閒晃，他正感受到人生當中全新且令人興奮的階段。他外表看起略瘦，隨興的穿著讓他看起來健康還不錯: 藍格子襯衫，牛仔褲，腳踏沙漠靴。現在不僅僅只是即將發行第七張綠洲專輯”Dig Out Your Soul”，或者他花整個早晨陪他一歲的兒子，被他稱為鑽石的”Donovan”玩耍。因為，事實上，頭子居然有了夢遊的症狀。

“Last night I got into bed with me missus and woke up on the middle floor of the house on the couch,” he says. “Amazing! I’m 41 and I’m starting this whole new nocturnal adventure.” He and his girlfriend, Sara Macdonald, were out drinking beer and tequila with British comedian Russell Brand until the early hours — Gallagher doesn’t remember anything after climbing into a rickshaw in London’s Soho district and being cheered through the streets. “Maybe that counts as a drunken stupor,” he muses. “Is that the same as sleepwalking?”

Dig Out Your Soul sounds like you ordered in the ingredients, and all the labels on the jars read ROCK or MORE ROCK.

I’m glad you said that. Yes, we wanted a rock’n'roll album…with grooves. Making records should be fun. I remember seeing Radiohead on the cover of a magazine in the U.K. when In Rainbows came out, and it said, RADIOHEAD: THE PAIN. And I thought, “Won’t you fucking give it a rest, you bunch of moaning children?” The pain? Of making an album? I don’t buy it. If you’re not having a laugh, then don’t do it.
我很高興你這樣說。對，我們想在絕佳的狀態之下…做一張搖滾專輯。錄製唱片應該是很快樂的事，但我記得曾經看見Radiohead出現在英國的雜誌封面上，那時候他們的唱片”In Rainbows”剛發行，而上面寫著Radiohead: 痛苦(THE PAIN)。但我心想，”你們他媽的乾脆好好休息一陣子，像個發牢騷的小鬼” 這麼痛苦的製作這張專輯? 我才不會買。如果你不開心，就不要做這件事。

Surely the whole process wasn’t all fun.
整個錄音過程應該不是一直都快樂吧?

Well, no, there was a problem on day one. I had seven songs I was putting forward. They weren’t pop songs; they were bluesy. We had a meeting and I said, “Let’s concentrate more on bass and guitars and have more keyboards and get some remixes done.” Liam immediately had a tantrum in the studio and was dancing round saying, “No one told me we were making a fucking dance album! I’m not having this shit. We’re a rock band.” One day he saw some crew unloading keyboards into the studio and went mad: “What are those fucking keyboards doing in here? That’s too many keyboards for a rock’n'roll band.” How long has Liam been doing this? He has an irrational fear of keyboards. But this is the man who thought we had gone too dance when I wrote “Wonderwall” because the drums didn’t go boom-boom bap, boom-boom-bap. Liam is very institutionalized by being in Oasis. He’s been doing it for so long. Me, [guitarist] Gem [Archer], and [bassist] Andy [Bell] were helping him arrange his song “I’m Outta Time” and tried to ease him away from the clichés. But in the end, he can’t resist them.

Liam told me he hates “Wonderwall.” It’s the one song he literally hates singing.

That’s interesting, because he would never say that to me. Well, I hate him singing it, too. Liam doesn’t sound like he did ten years ago. Your voice and your body change. We’ve never got it right. It’s too slow or too fast. I think Ryan Adams is the only person who ever got that song right. I’d love to do the Ryan Adams version, but in front of 60,000 Oasis fans that wouldn’t be possible.
真有趣，因為他從來沒跟我說過。唔，我不喜歡他這樣說。Liam的歌聲已經不像十年前那樣了。你的聲音和你的身體逐年改變，我們沒辦法永遠保持最佳狀態，變化來的太快或者來的太慢。我想Ryan Adams是唯一我覺得能把歌曲永遠演繹的很好的歌手。我想我可能可以把這首歌取做成Ryan Adams的版本，但是在六萬Oasis歌迷面前，我想這不可能發生的。

Liam is finally pulling his weight in the songwriting department, isn’t he? He wrote three for the new album.
Liam最終把自己定位在作曲的一角，他可以算是嗎? 他在新專輯中寫了三首新歌。

Yeah, he’s a good songwriter. I think he regrets not starting earlier. For years I’ve said, “If you’re so convinced you’re John Lennon, then prove it.”

Why don’t you ever write together?
為什麼你們不一起寫歌呢?

We don’t see each other very often. And I like writing on my own. Me and Paul Weller first said, “Let’s write a song together,” in 1993, but it took 15 years for it to happen. [Gallagher and Weller cowrote "Echoes Round the Sun" for Weller's latest album, 22 Dreams.] A few times [Weller and I] made an appointment to meet at so-and-so studio at 11, and it’s painful. We sit there looking blankly at each other. And then we go down to the pub. With Liam, I wouldn’t know where to start.
我們不常相聚，而我喜歡自己一個人寫歌。1993年我第一次和Paul Weller說過: “讓我一起寫首歌吧”，但這件事經過了整整15個年頭才成真 (頭子和Paul Weller共同寫了一首”Echoes Round the Sun”的歌，放進了Weller最新的專輯”22 Dreams”)。有一陣子我們兩個人在錄音室開會，感到很痛苦，因為我們什麼都沒幹的坐在那裏對看。之後，我們上Pub，也約了Liam，我不知道要如何開始。

You quit drugs in the late ’90s. “Bag It Up” sounds quite psychedelic. Are you back on mood-altering substances?

No, “Bag It Up” is my little artistic statement. Not in the Coldplay sense. In fact, it’s an anti-artistic statement. I spend a lot of time with Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian getting fucking pissed, and he sent me a CD of stuff he was listening to. There was a track by the Pretty Things called “Baron Saturday.” I became obsessed by that pounding rhythm, and I decided to write about acid trips I used to have. Running around being a mad cunt on magic mushrooms was my inspiration for them lyrics. I don’t want people to think it’s art, though.
不會，”Bag It Up”只是我的一個小小藝術表達，不是那種酷玩的感覺。事實上，這首曲是一個反藝術的陳述。我花了很多時間和Kasabian的吉他手Serge瘋狂的喝掛，之後他借給我他聽過的一張CD。裡面有一首歌是Pretty Things寫的，曲名叫作”Baron Saturday.”。我對這猛烈的節奏感到著迷，而我也決定也要寫有關藥物迷幻的歌曲。像是在”魔菇”的影響下瘋狂性愛，是我從歌詞中得到的靈感。我不想要人們認為這是藝術，儘管他們還是這樣認為。

What do you mean?
你的意思是?

Well, Coldplay and Radiohead — they’re artists, aren’t they? Damon Albarn, he’s an artist. They make art. That’s what I keep getting told, anyway. I do like those bands, but they’re all posh boys who went to art school. [Oasis] come off a council estate [public housing]. It comes out of here. [Thumps his heart with a clenched fist] “Bag It Up” is anti-that. It’s a mongrel.

Well, I never said those words. You need verbatim quotes here. I’ve been doing interviews with American magazines, and the way it’s played itself out is that I said Jay-Z had no right to play Glastonbury, which is a crock of horseshit. I got off a plane and someone asked me about the fact that Glastonbury hadn’t sold out for the first time in years, and if it was because of Jay-Z. I innocently mused that that was probably right. From there it grew into this crap that I was standing on an orange crate at Speakers’ Corner saying, “Gather round, brothers and sisters. Have you heard what’s happening at Glastonbury this year?”

I have a certain turn of phrase. So if I say, “Chicken sandwiches in McDonald’s are just plain fucking wrong,” it doesn’t mean I’m attacking all chickens or all sandwiches. I’ve hung out with Jay-Z in Tokyo. I’ve seen his show. It’s not my bag, but it’s all right. We have a mutual friend in Chris Martin. So I am a guy who doesn’t like hip-hop — shock, horror. I don’t dislike rappers or hip-hop or people who like it. I went to the Def Jam tour in Manchester in the ’80s when rap was inspirational. Public Enemy were awesome. But it’s all about status and bling now, and it doesn’t say anything to me.

Liam Gallagher prefers being a stay-at-home dad these days, but he’s not lost his rock’n’roll swagger

Liam Gallagher says he and his brother “are two totally different people and the sooner people realise that the less we can go on about it”. Fair enough, but, having interviewed Noel several years ago, I can report the Gallagher boys have more in common than being in the same band and having the same mum and dad: extreme candour, for one thing. You asked Noel a question, you got a straight answer. If anything, his kid brother is even more straight-talking. Also (and I didn’t think this could be possible), Liam swears even more.

When I ask Liam what he thinks the public thinks of him, for instance, he says: “Loudmouth blagging gobshite from Manchester…and they’d be totally correct.” Or here he is on the subject of Wayne Rooney’s wedding to Coleen McLoughlin, which had taken place, and subsequently appeared in OK! magazine, not long before we met. “You’ve got this kid who’s f****** 19 [22] or whatever the f*** he is, who 20 minutes ago was playing for Everton, having a five million pound wedding! How do you f****** grasp that?”

Reception over the road, it was nice, we drank champagne, but I’ve still got a lid on it.”

When they’re not on the f****** telly they want to be in a f****** magazine and when they’re not in a magazine they want to be on a f****** bottle of water. It’s like, f****** chill the f*** out, you can’t do one f****** job right let alone f****** trying to do f****** five, you *****!”

It’s not just footballers “spending 100 grand on f****** Rolexes” that Liam objects to; he doesn’t have much time, any time, for celebrities per se. “I’m not one of them that walks around town like I’m the king of London. If I need to get milk I go out and get milk, but most of the time I’m indoors.” Noel, he says, “loves being famous. He adores it. I don’t think about it. I don’t do what famous people do. I don’t go to famous-y events. As long as I’m in a band and making music and playing gigs, I couldn’t give a f***.”

Oasis are soon to release their seventh studio album. “We should have made more, we should be on our tenth or summat,” thinks Liam. “We don’t struggle for songs.” Besides Noel’s output, Liam now writes as well, contributing three (one good, one bad, one indifferent, in my opinion) of 11 tracks on the new album. What’s I’m Outta Time (the good one) about, I ask. “Ain’t got a clue, man. Didn’t sit down to write about being out of time, in time, on f****** time, it wrote itself.” He finds melodies easy, he says, but “I find it hard with words”.

He can be inarticulate in person, too, yet he is one of those people, like John Prescott, whose meaning is crystal clear despite verbal infelicity. Oasis’s publicists are nervous at letting Liam loose in a full-blown one-on-one. He is uncompromising. He doesn’t try to be your friend. His conversational style is combative. He gives an answer, then juts his chin up and stares you out with those unblinking blue eyes. Liam doesn’t trouble with the usual niceties of shifting product either. “Buy it [the new record] or don’t f****** buy it, I’m not mithered either way.”

We’re in a photographic studio in East London, sitting on facing sofas, the publicity team out of sight behind a wall but in earshot. The biggest surprise comes right at the outset. Liam, now 35, is off the fags, off the booze, off “the other stuff” (cocaine) as well. He’s been off them for nine days at any rate. And he has taken up jogging. “Not jogging, man, running. Get up early, live right on the heath [Hampstead], pair of trainers on and away I go. Beautiful.” (I’m going to edit out most of the expletives from here on, I’m sure you’ve got the general idea.)

He covers ten miles in an hour and a half. (That’s a shade over 6.5mph which, sorry Liam, is jogging, not running, speed. But well done anyway.) He comes home, walks his kids to school, has a bath, chills out, watches TV, does “whatever’s on the menu for the day”. When we met, that meant rehearsals for the new tour (now under way in Canada), hence his abstemiousness.

Load of big fat lines, load of cigarettes, staying up late talking the same shit you talked the night before and the night before that, that’s not good for it [his voice]. It’s not a big deal. I’ve got willpower.” When his voice is good, he says, “no one can touch me”. (Many would agree.) “And when it’s bad, it’s a bit better than Pete Doherty’s.”

When he does drink, he says, he might “do a bottle of tequila in a couple of hours, no problem. The good stuff, Patrón.” Doesn’t that make him ill? “No, I feel all right. Red wine I can’t handle, just want to batter everyone. On tequila, I’m Bob Monkhouse. I’m a good drinker, but it’s dominos, isn’t it? Get pissed, smoke, do the other…”

But yeah, I’ve mellowed, but not in the sense of liking Radiohead or Coldplay. I don’t hate them. I don’t wish they had accidents. I think their fans are boring and ugly and they don’t look like they’re having a good time.” Liam doesn’t like any contemporary bands. “Not interested. I play the Beatles, the Stones, the Kinks, Neil Young, the Pistols. Maybe a bit of the Roses. Don’t like modern bands. Topman music, innit?”

Years ago I was in the pub.” Did he always want to be a dad? “No, not really. Just wanted to get off me tits and do music, but once you get your missus pregnant, you’ve got to step up to the plate.”

He has two boys, Lennon, almost 9, who lives with his mum, Liam’s ex-wife Patsy Kensit, and Gene, just 7, who lives with Liam and his second wife, Nicole Appleton of All Saints. The boys attend the same school. Private or state? “Private.” Was that an issue for him? “Not at all. Not a-f****** tall. They’ve got every right to be there as much as some banker’s son. When I pick me kid up, I feel amazing.” Liam left his own school, Catholic, all-boys, at 15. “Had no time for it. Got a job creosoting fences. Fifty quid a week.”

I mention that when I had interviewed Noel, he said he worried he wasn’t a good dad to Anais, then 2, his daughter by Meg Mathews. “He shouldn’t get hung up about it,” says Uncle Liam. “She’s only 8. If any bad days have gone down you make it up to her, don’t you?” As for his own paternal ability: “I’m the b*******s at being a dad. I’m top. We have a lot of fun.” Who’s stricter, him or Nicole? “Me. I’m the bad cop, she’s the good cop. I’m not Hitler, but they’re getting older, they make a mess, they tidy it up.” What if they swear? “I give ’em a medal! Nah, they don’t swear.”

He and his wife don’t go out much, he says. “Done all that, seen it, didn’t like it.” Did you get anything out of it? “Might have had a couple of lines out of it, couple of scraps, lot of earache.” If he and his wife do venture forth, they usually take Gene with them. “Go out at 6, out of there by 7.” Babysitters are not an issue. “Nicole’s mam is round the corner.” The Gallaghers do not employ a nanny. “Don’t need one.”

Liam’s own mother is still in Burnage, the suburb of Manchester where the Gallaghers grew up. He phones her every day. “I enjoy speaking to her.” He offered to buy her a new house. “She said, ‘What would I move for? You can get us a new gate.’ Noel bought her a little cottage in Ireland. She goes there a bit.” Despite his Irish roots, Liam considers himself typically English. “I hate that plastic Paddy thing. I’m into the English thing, music, football, clothes.”

Not angry, not sad, just nish.” Have his father’s shortcomings made him try harder as a dad himself? “Nah. I think you’ve got to do it right, not because he didn’t, but because they deserve it. I don’t dwell on it.”

Liam and Nicole have a second home in Henley-on-Thames. “Try to get there every weekend. Watch TV, play with the kids, sit in the garden, get in the pool, get out of the pool, go for a run, normal stuff.” How have the good people of Henley reacted to his arrival? “This lady walked past, she said, ‘You’re the coolest person I’ve seen in Henley since George Harrison.’ They’re pretty much the same as us really, they get a bad rap.” His house in Henley has its own bar, but he only stocks it with booze for special occasions.

Now I live in a nice area, kids go to private school, few quid in me pocket, so what? I am what I am. I’m just me. I’m not a flash **** if that’s what you’re saying. And I’m not the other one, whatever that is.” Middle class? “Right. The kids are middle class though, I suppose.”

I say when I asked Steven Gerrard the same question last year, about class, he got shirty. Liam’s interest picks up. “Oh aye, Gerrard got shirty, did he? Did I get shirty then?” Not especially, I reply, and, dropping another name, tell him how Paul Weller described resisting his partner’s attempts to lure him to middle-class dinner parties. “Well, he should have a working-class party, shouldn’t he?” says Liam. “Invite all of them, they won’t come again, will they? ’Cos apparently we’re scum.”

Still am.” Today he’s wearing Lee jeans, black Vans, black T-shirt, Holland Esquire suit jacket, a rubber wristband that says “Peace and love”. “Got that off Ringo Starr. Yeah, I like me clothes, and I don’t get ’em for nothing. I go and buy ’em like a proper dude.”

Kids and clothing aside, a lot of our conversation is about what Liam doesn’t like or doesn’t do. He has a Mini and a Range Rover but doesn’t drive, has never learnt. He doesn’t read, apart from to his children. “It’s Grizzly Dad today, about a dad that turns into a bear. Don’t like Dr Seuss, too smart.” He hasn’t got the patience for other books, “and it’s a form of people telling you how it is, isn’t it? I like to make my own mind up.” He doesn’t want to make new friends. “Quite happy with what I’ve got.”

Noel goes. He likes signing autographs.” He doesn’t socialise with his brother. “All we need to do is make music together.”

He’s tried golf a few times – “Bit of exercise, spliff, whack f*** out of the balls, beer afterwards, it’s good” – but doesn’t sound as if he’ll be taking it up regularly. Still, if he hadn’t made it as a rock star, he’d have fancied a job “cutting grass on a golf course. Nice and chilled. Outdoors, not inside, walls and that.”

He isn’t interested in politics, although he’ll watch Prime Minister’s Questions. “I like the noises they make.” When his brother went to Downing Street to meet Blair in 1997, he isn’t sure whether he was invited or not, but “I wouldn’t have gone.” He’s lost interest in feuding with other bands. “I’m cool with Damon [Albarn]. That was only a bit of a laugh.” How about Robbie Williams? “Funny how he says a couple of things then moves to LA, know what I mean? Gives it all that and packs his bags.”

Another is being in Oasis. “We’ve no competition, none at all.” He knows many people, including all critics and his own brother, think the band’s form dipped after the first two electrifying albums, but he isn’t having it. “Just ’cos Noel and a couple of divvy journalists think that doesn’t mean it’s right. I think all our records are great.”

And shortly after that, Liam, by now a little late to pick his son up, bounces to his feet. He’s taking his lad to the cinema, or, as he puts it, “I’m off to f****** ’ave it with Kung Fu Panda.” Does it feel strange, I ask, to do a big interview for The Times? “No,” he says, staring coolly back, “it’s about f****** time.”

Oasis Announce First-Ever Gig In Taiwan

Oasis are set to make their debut appearance in Taiwan after announcing today that they will play Taiwan World Trade Centre Nangang in Taipei City on Friday 3rd April.

The gig is part of their forthcoming Asian tour that which kicks off in Nagoya, Japan on 18th March and includes sold out dates in Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong.

太夢幻了! 居然在Oasis官網出現臺灣!!
多令人感動的一刻阿!!!

《Don’t Go Away》單曲，全世界只在日本發行，是日本特別版，但是當年也在UK單曲榜來到第四名的位置。

值得一提的是，單曲中包含的《Fade Away》被收錄在慈善專輯《Help》中，是由Noel和他的朋友們所錄製的特別版，很有意義的版本，值得聽看看!

《Don’t Go Away》收錄在Be Here Now專輯中，是Liam唱的情歌中我最喜愛的其中一首! 雖然這首歌很少被Oasis拿來演唱，有點可惜，但無損它在我心目中的地位。

開頭歌詞中的’cold and frosty morning’讓我印象深刻，每當天氣非常的冷還下著雨的時候，就會不由自主的想到這首歌。

“This is about me mam. A week before Meg and me went to Mustique me mam was in hospital. They thought it was cancer, though it wasn′t and she′s fine. 拜大陸京滬兩場巡演的取消，才有這種好消息誕生!

這個興奮程度破表的好消息，昨天已經在全台灣音樂迷中迅速流傳開來! 已經讓綠洲迷第二天的暈眩!! (倒)

現在請大家快點準備好接機的工具、欲簽名的唱片、球衣、相機! 非常非常有可能 4月3日，我們就能和夢想中的綠洲大咖們見面了!

其實這張已經可以放進「不聽會後悔系列」裡頭，會上癮阿!

來自澳洲墨爾本的Cut Copy，最大的賣點就是將獨立音樂和電子音樂搞個完美大融合!

別以為他們只是個單純的混音專輯，能將電子舞曲、瞪鞋迷幻、英倫復古、house節拍湊在一起，能搭出耀眼光芒讓人駐足傾聽，Cut Copy就有這種本事! 有趣的是，即使他們的音樂風格多變，但在他們的MySpace首頁卻標上3個”pop/pop/pop“的風格，雖然感覺是惡搞，不過或許是他們覺得自己帶給歌迷的音樂就是要流行吧!

Cut Copy由Dan Whitford, Tim Hoey, Mitchell Scott, Bennett Foddy所組成，於2008年發行的第二張專輯《In Ghost Colours》將上述的元素帶入，在復古的主軸中加入電氣化的裝飾，呈現的極為剛好，一點也不詭異混搭風。他們的音樂充滿開心歡樂，表現的娛樂性十足，超高!

專輯的第一首開場《Feel The Love》清新又俏皮的旋律襲來，忍不住會想要跟著吹個口哨那樣的感覺，彷彿置身遊樂園一般! 剛提到瞪鞋Shoegaze，在《So Haunted》一曲表露無遺，噪音吉他音牆一陣一陣的倒來，比春風吹還舒服吶! 緊接著的短曲目《Voices In Quartz》接續著上首聆聽，極為搭調! 但讓人心曠神怡的不止這些，專輯之前先發行的單曲《Hearts On Fire》，不讓開場曲專美於前，混入類似於都會時尚圈的風格，浩室節拍加持之下，不用說，一樣超高!!

《Silver Thoughts》加上《Strangers In The Wind》則是Cut Copy這張專輯內比較不一樣的作品，像極了燈紅酒綠下的落寞和迷失，在輕輕淡淡的點了根菸之後，重回舞池搖晃。

真的，他們的音樂很有趣 !

05年組成的年輕樂隊Islands，延續著首張專輯《Return to the sea》給人的有趣、好玩印象，他們第二張專輯《Arm’s Way》又再次吸引到我的注意。不同於一般俏皮電子音效的indie，Islands加入更多古怪新奇的想法，他們也說過，他們的理念就是將古怪的創意讓更多人接受。

先暫時拋開你對復古旋律的接受程度，第一首《The Arm》完全就是個奇怪的復古調調! 它聽起來很流行，但又說不上是個流行。不曉得為什麼讓我很自然的聯想到早期台灣的一些音樂? 如果霹靂布袋戲想打入美加市場，誠心推薦一定要用這首當主題曲，它聽起來多適合呀! 而且很不簡單的是，長達五分半鐘的曲長，吉他、鼓、弦樂融合出來的芭樂旋律居然可以這麼好玩順耳! 該不會是他們陣中有兩位華人的緣故吧? XD

它真是一首怪歌，但是我忍不住就是想介紹它!

再來我想推薦另一首，《Creeper》。

場景瞬間搬到70年代的舞池，強勁的頓點節奏，我們點瓶beers，我們順著節奏搖頭晃腦! 喜歡復古旋律的不要錯過這首，它充滿洶湧的復古迷幻魔力，它讓整個舞池情節搬上曲調裡，像看著黑白電影那樣享受它!

其他有些曲目，聽到出神時會有股在聽Pulp，Jarvis大叔上身的感覺，還蠻妙的，哈!

在台灣特別版才有的bonus track《two dogs》，這是台灣歌迷的幸福呀! 很棒，蠻好聽的!

第一張專輯的青澀感受，放入的音樂多是陽光歡樂、輕鬆俏皮的有趣點，第二張專輯相較起來成熟了許多，風格跳很大，但無持一貫天馬行空的創意，還是給歌迷有種「千年傳統．全新感受」，我由衷的讚揚這張專輯的表現!

但是阿但是，我還是搞不懂《Arm’s Way》封面的意義是什麼? 是想表達從母體而出的意思嗎?

剛看完OASIS在發新專輯DOYS之後的演唱會，真好看吶! 尤其是加入了新專輯的歌曲，感覺多了很多新元素真新鮮! Y

說一下我對這場一些印象深刻的片段。

除了少了一貫的《Fuckin’ In The Bushes》開場，讓我感覺不太習慣之外，《Rock ‘n’ Roll Star》的前奏一下，綠洲的熱血迅速點燃!
　　

新單曲《The Shock Of The Lightning》一開始的鼓點讓我遲疑了幾秒鐘，但隨後跟上的吉他噪音，我知道是它了! 我最愛的專輯新單曲! 如果OASIS傢伙們能把這首再表演的更吵鬧些，感覺會更有意思，哈!
　　

《Cigarettes & Alcohol》真的太好聽了!!! 我要給OASIS一個搖滾手勢，再多一個大拇指給Noel，怎麼可以做出那麼讚的旋律! 太好聽了!　　

在新專輯中Noel的獨唱曲《Waiting For The Rapture》整個電的我麻麻的，這一定會是以後演唱會頭子的必備曲目! 頭子唱這首歌太性感了，溫暖的歌聲所向披靡!
　　

接續上一首頭子的溫暖歌聲，《The Masterplan》也是Noel的拿手好戲! 迥於上一首《Waiting For The Rapture》，《The Masterplan》道出的是嚴肅的道理，副歌到來時，頭子推我們一把，將我們低沉的情緒化開，像是撥雲見日一般的給我們希望。這同樣也是我非常喜愛的Noel獨唱曲。這場的版本特別與Crouch End Festival Chorus搭配演出，格外讓人容易進入曲調的旋律裡。
　　

聽完頭子的獨唱之後，Liam的自創曲《Songbird》輕快的節奏，讓剛剛有點沉重的心情趕跑，這首真的是無敵的小品! 無論哪時候聽都能讓心情快速好轉!
　　

《Morning Glory》是綠洲亢奮歌曲首選! 我偷偷瞄到背景電視牆的直昇機，好懷念mv阿!
　　

《I’m Outta Time》也是新專輯中我非常期待的單曲，它營造出來的哀戚氣氛，讓人無止境的懷念John Lennon…
　　

接著的《Wonderwall》讓我們把眼淚擦乾，這首綠洲國歌不在心裡跟大家快樂合唱，那真是太可惜了!
　　

綠洲大合唱經典《Don’t Look Back In Anger》，頭子換上木吉他溫暖開場，最後一段少了給fans”獨唱”的機會，真不過癮 XD 如果能像05年曼城演唱會那場一樣，就太完美了!
　　
　　

一口氣說了很多，太激動了，哈哈哈!

這份歌單順序安排真不賴! 不過少了一些自己平常喜歡聽的歌，很可惜。Be Here Now這張專輯再度全軍覆沒… 我好想聽《Stand by Me》和《Don’t Go Away》阿!

經典的《Live Forever》也沒列入，綠洲們應該要開放安可時間才對，哈哈哈!

又很久沒動筆了

這陣子我除了焦慮的等待找工作的日子之外，就只剩兩件事吸引著我的注意力…

我的小小飛機場和拍照

倒是很少有專注地靜下來聆聽音樂。

先談談小小飛機場好了，最近對他們只有沉迷呀!

而且我還一次買了他們三張唱片*，也就是他們所有的專輯，還有一張是親筆簽名的呦呦呦! 是簽在我的最愛 – 「在動物園散步才是正經事」這張~ 開心!

*他們的三張專輯長的就一副就，”我是一組的，請不要把我們拆賣”，所以我很好心的把它們通通帶回家，擺在一起。
　　

再來動物園這張有首曲子的歌名非常棒! 《柯德莉，關於風景》。因為念起來的發音只和我的名字才一字，哈! 我愛!

不過其實這張我的最愛是第二首的《在動物園散步才是正經事》和第七首的《josephine’s shop》，它們輕鬆愉快又生活，好聽極了!

另外，第九首的《you don’t wanna be my girlfriend, phoebe》則在最近被國外某知名樂團拿來翻唱。
　　

我會被小小飛機場迷住，是因為他們生活化的音樂，傳達的簡單又直接，對於對付我這種生活上焦慮過頭的人，剛剛好。輕鬆的電子琴合成音效搭上主唱甜而不膩的聲音，架構出來的旋律讓人不多加以思考的聆聽享受。
　　
　　

第二樣吸引我的事，就是拍照。

我不停的流連忘返flickr上，那些創作出來的迷人色調和構圖，看的我心花怒放的。這耗費我晚上大部分的時間，也是導致網誌嚴重停擺的最大元凶之一!!

等我工作穩定下來，我會好好寫網誌，說說我最近被哪些樂隊電到的。

好像很久沒更新了，真是抱歉呀各位，最近忙著找新工作，得臨時抱佛腳補充一些知識，每天的時間都被壓榨光了。

最近有看到一些令人興奮的新消息，很想要分享，如果常在注意音樂新聞的人想必已經聽說過了，不過我還是說一些讓還沒得到消息的人知道一下。

有三大消息!
1. Oasis要到香港、上海開唱!

2. 前Mansun主唱Paul Draper復出表演囉!

3. Arctic Monkeys, 潑猴們在紐西蘭開唱，發表了四首新歌!

第一個大消息當然是Oasis要到香港開唱! 這是Oasis離台灣最近的一場巡迴，票價相當誘惑，搖滾區才折合台幣3365元左右! 其他的座位區票價則落在台幣1639~3365元之間。

日期是訂在今年的4月7日(二), 8:00pm，地點在香港亞洲國際博覽館Arena（1號展館），關於訂票資訊可至此網站洽詢。

剛剛最新得到的情報，Oasis還要在上海舉辦演唱! 天吶! 日期是4月3日(五)。
快存錢吧! 各位綠洲迷!

第二個消息就是關於Paul Draper這個懶鬼，到底要哪時候才要發個人的專輯? 之前已經有陸續傳聞他已經開始進行錄音，可是感覺Pual還是沒有給大家一個明確的答覆。不過現在他願意走出來表演，這對我們苦苦等待的fans來說已經是很棒的消息了!

另外要提的是，Paul已經不復當年小生樣了，已經邁入大叔的年紀哩!

去年開始愛上的Arctic Monkeys隔了幾年之後，終於發表新作品啦!

在今年1月12日於紐西蘭舉辦的演唱，一次放送了四首新歌給歌迷，分別是：’Dangerous Animals’, ‘Pretty Visitors’, ‘Go-Kart’ 和 ‘Crying Lightning’。

在演唱會的開場，Turner說了這段話：「”Hello everyone, this is our first gig for about a year, so you might have to bear with us.”」

哈! 他們也知道讓我們等太久了厚! 我看最近有沒有時間把相關的報導整理起來給大家。

只是Oasis, Noel的日記啦，內容就是他每天的日常生活的紀錄… (有說等於沒說一樣…)

現在Noel他正在美國巡迴，頭子平時的伶牙俐齒可以在日記中看到… 不過最近的日記有點開始偷懶了，剛開始話可真多! 哈哈哈

其實蠻無聊的，反正沒事看看也好。

We did catch up with some old friends yesterday though. Them being The Black Crowes. We toured with them in 2002 (I think). They were playing across the street. Good to see Chris. He’s a lord.
不過我們昨天還是和幾個老朋友見了面。他們是”The Black Crowes”樂團。2002年我們曾經一起巡迴表演。他們現在在街頭表演。很高興見到Chris，他是神。

It seems like I’m saying this a lot recently, but – fuck me – there’s nothing going on at the minute. NOTHING.

Played Detroit last night. Got a day off today (in Detroit). It’s a Sunday. Utterly soul-destroyingly dull. So dull in fact that I actually bought something off that ebay last night. A vintage Gibson organ. Very fuckin’ cool. Gotta go and pick it up today at some fella’s house. Thinking on..that should be quite exciting! Going to a real American person’s actual house? Well, there’s fuck-all else to do.

I’m currently watching some of that American Football. The New York Jets-V-The Buffalo Bills, in fact. I like it. I’m one of the few Mancunians who actually understand it. It’s a very simple game made extremely complicated by mathematics. For example, it’s currently 14-3 to the Jets. It’s 14.26 in the 2nd. The Jets have the ball on the 22 and it’s 3rd down and 8. Erm..sorry?

今年是趕流行就對了，The Verve復出已經搞得大家不可思議了，Blur現在也尬上了這股潮流。當然，這對歌迷來說是大好消息哩。那，接下來會是哪個團復出呢？

是剛來台的英搖中流砥柱Suede和Pulp？還是帶起英搖熱潮的Stone Roses？有期待，希望就有可能成真！

BLUR SPEAK: ‘We are reuniting for Hyde Park gig’ – Exclusive

Blur are reforming to play live next year, NME can exclusively reveal.

The full line-up – Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree – will play their first gigs together since guitarist Coxon quit the band in 2002.

Speaking only to NME in a world exclusive joint interview, Albarn and Coxon explained that they had put their differences behind them and were looking forward to playing live in 2009.

Brett是帶領我進入英搖世界的人，今天聽他演唱，身體一直麻麻的，好像在作夢。不管剛開場的時候、還是用中文說謝謝的時候、還是全場大喊安可他走出來的時候，都有一股強勁的電流流竄全身!

有演唱幾首Suede時期的經典代表作，《The Wild Ones》、《Trash》、《Saturday Night》、《So Young》，真的是太銷魂了…
　　

但很可惜，聽完之後我們很爽快的就放棄其他的表演，直接去吃東西，結果錯過了後頭臨時發生的大事件! Brett居然很親民的幫大家簽名…
　　

不過不管啦，在今年中，聽到了Travis和Brett一切都值得了!

一開始開場的時候，Brett冷酷的走近鋼琴，不打招呼就直接開始連續彈奏幾首的歌曲，當下心裡就涼掉了，想說大叔該不會是心情不好吧… 但是後來，Brett就開始逐漸嶄露笑容，帥斃了! (請原諒我用偶像角度看他一下)

然後我要說的是，我對Brett大叔其實很抱歉。對他的個人專輯中的每一首歌都很不瞭，唯一比較熟的就只有《Back To You》，也是唯一能跟著合唱的個人專輯中的歌曲。平心而論Brett個人專輯中的歌很多都是淡淡憂傷的小品，如果是一個人有點心情不好，那整張專輯能默默陪伴你整夜。
　　
　　

重頭戲當然是Suede時期的經典作品!

《The Wild Ones》的旋律一彈奏，全場就陷入瘋狂了! 九零年代的麂皮病毒開始橫掃全場! 噢，當然不包括提前來卡位的蘇X綠的歌迷。我們隨著音樂搖擺，麂皮病毒電的我好舒服，我跟著Brett和全場合唱，這根本就像作夢一樣… 我期盼好多年的Brett活生生的在我眼前十公尺處。

接連的《Saturday Night》是我只要一聽Suede就必點的歌曲，重量級阿! 我的天。 這首的大合唱已經刻在腦海裡面了，太經典了，真的…

《Trash》接連的第三首，也是魅力無限的經典，吉他一刷馬上又引起全場的共鳴，在這時的現場我已經酥酥麻麻了，OMG!!

在演唱完《Pantomime Horse》之後，Brett起身向大家道別，也就是我的相簿中那張背影照片。等到Brett走進後台，我們台下不死心的歌迷還齊深喊著安可，等待Brett給我們更多美好記憶。
　　

奇蹟發生了! Brett走出來了!
　　

他順手彈奏了一首個人專輯的歌，但是我心裡想著給我《So Young》或《Film Star》吧! 很焦急。

Wonderful! 是《So Young》! 我中樂透了! 前奏一下我就激動了! 這首是我的無敵愛歌阿… 整首歌我都跟著合唱，尤其是 「Chase the dragon…」這句，太興奮了…!
　　
　　

最終的道別，Brett很親切的向大家Say Goodbye，還不忘挑逗大家一下給了一個飛吻 “mua” ~ 他說他下次還會再來台灣哦! 我們繼續期待未來!

這首歌我要點給位於新店捷運站對面的快餐店老闆。
　　

最近很常到這邊外帶一份晚餐回家吃，店內在晚餐時間客人還算蠻多，去到那邊等個一兩位顧客還蠻正常的。不知道從哪一次開始注意到老闆和老闆娘的互動，老闆的脾氣頗差，常常對著老闆娘大呼小叫的，那時我想說店裡的客人爆滿，來不及做出來給客人，脾氣可能稍微比較急了點。

「這不好啦! 不要這樣罵。」好幾次想要脫口而出。可是我沒種，我擔心的不是我以後我沒辦法來這家吃飯，而是我以後沒有嘴巴可以吃飯。(我知道這樣想很多餘…

很少聽Manic Street Preachers的歌，但來自於Manics第五張錄音室專輯《This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours》的《If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next》這首歌很輕易的就打動了我。內容在描述西班牙內戰的事，引導人們思考一旦姑息養奸，後果將會對下一代帶來更多的災難。對於這樣具有影響力的樂團，能對世界發聲，帶著更多的人心投入我們平常漠不關心的事，真的很值得大家的讚賞。
　　

聞名音樂界的寫詞能力，充滿批判性的意涵，關注世界大事，這就是Manics給我的粗淺印象。當然，印象最深的是… 我會永遠記得他們陣中有位失蹤已久的團員。
　　

音樂旋律上似乎不算是樂迷口中所說早期的Manics，早期風格似乎更為激情且個性鮮明，而如今這首琅琅上口的流行旋律，對於搶進歌迷心中排行榜倒是有著很大的推力。算是太晚認識他們，認識他們時已經少了最初的成員，之後希望能熟悉他們時，好像就少了一股動力。但其實就算少了背後的軼事，經典的音樂還是會繼續流傳在每一個英搖迷耳朵裡。

來自英國的3人女子團體The Pipettes (中譯：試管美梅)，是個崇尚60年代風格的團體，不僅僅只是復古曲風，連三人的髮型、穿著也來到60年代。黑色小圓點的洋裝，黑白電影中出現的小領巾，搭配現場隨旋律搖擺的舞蹈，帶著觀眾置身復古風華的舞池裡。

The Pipettes他們的音樂建立在60年代的流行曲風，超級俏皮，無敵輕鬆愉快，幾支他們的熱門歌曲都流露出同樣的味道。初次聽到會讓人有耳目一新之感，偶爾聽一下也蠻能放鬆心情，之前信義誠品的＄99跳樓大拍賣中，有他們這一張唱片，想入手的人應該還是可以試著去尋覓看看。

另外《We Are The Pipettes》、《Why Did You Stay?》、《Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me》這幾首通通都可以來聽看看，有時候他們動作會讓人會心一笑的感覺 (還是其實是動作太白痴?)

我只能說我很善變，我的音樂口味一直在變，就好像主食不變，旁邊的配菜倒是不停的變換!

由年輕的Robert Harvey(主唱/吉他)、Adam Nutter(吉他)、Stuart Coleman(貝斯)與Phil Jordan(鼓手)組成的The Music，在尚未成名前就已被譽為全英最佳的未簽約樂團。2002年首張同名專輯《The Music》入選當年全英年度專輯之列。2004年發行的《Welcome To The North》則請到名製作人Brenda O’Brien打造新專輯。歷經了四年，2008年推出的全新大碟《Strength In Numbers》，Robert Harvey帶著龐克斃的光頭造型現身，首支單曲《Strength In Numbers》混合電子味搖滾當開場白，強勁地將空白的四年填滿!
　　

The Music，包括上次寫到的Arctic Monkeys，都是當初聽了一下就打包回塵封不動資料夾的樂隊，一片的叫好聲下，那時就是聽不出個端倪的音樂。最近他們要來台灣演出了，看大家又開始熱血的推薦他們，不死心的又再嘗試一遍。

就是這樣! 我現在就是愛這種類型的音樂，帶點電子的，熱血的，迷幻的。就是有些Kasabain、Arctic Monkeys這樣類型的影子! 最近整個臣服這樣的音樂類型，雖然The Music這張《Strength In Numbers》整張聽起來還是會跳著聽，但有幾首讓我repeat個不停!

【01】Strength In Numbers
大量的電子，強勁的鼓點，濃烈的復古三樣組合而成的節奏，搭配上主唱新剪的光頭，排山倒海來的氣勢，根本就無敵! Live的現場表演跟Arctic Monkeys有得尬!

迷幻的電子節奏在這首歌一覽無遺! 初聽到立刻聯想到Kasabian的搖滾! 有個強而有利的主軸，周圍環繞著迷幻的氛圍，主唱的有時虛幻有時亢奮的唱腔，遊刃有餘的遊走在這首歌的旋律裡!
　　

【03】Drugs
Drugs延續第二首的旋律，但我反而沒有喜歡副歌的部份，除去這個不談，很喜歡前段醞釀的節奏。
　　

【06】Fire
Fire = 龐克味的舞曲 ! 短短的兩分多鍾，把精力瞬間發洩完!
　　

【12】Inconceivable Odds

喜歡古谷實的漫畫，初次看不熟悉畫風的人，或許只會覺得他只是個專畫低級沒營養的漫畫家。但是一旦注意到他想表達的一些想法，那是很有趣的事情。

他藉著有圖片更富想像力的漫畫接近讀者，畫中的主角配角們都有著強烈的個人特質，他刻畫的深入，有時漫畫中人物的對答，就像是古谷實要丟給讀者的問題。探討人生意義的問題其實一點也不枯燥。這樣說好了，在他的作品中有各樣的人物，由於有著強烈的個人特質，你很容易可以把自己放進某個角色裡。故事的情節都不是一般漫畫常見的劇情梗，畫出來的故事很多是很貼近大家的生活，更有一些只是存在你腦中不敢實現的幻想畫面，最後你會有股不小的勇氣冒出。

把自己丟進去，其實會得到很多想法。當人生就算不是按照自己意願走，當保護傘下生活的人事物毫無防備的介入，「不願意」也是發生了。古谷實還算好心，倒楣過後他會給你糖吃，雖可能只是半塊糖，但那就是露出曙光的門縫。

最近看的一部作品是還在連載的「深海魚男」，他是一個過了30年空白無聊人生的人，在睡覺與工作間渾渾噩噩度過30個年頭，沒有任何的朋友，沒有任何的興趣，他要改變自己，但活在深海太久了，深海魚突然被拉拔至海平面，壓力的不平衡眼睛會爆裂而掛，所以他一步一步改變。

再有興趣一點，可以看看「機車人生」、「不道德的秘密」… 作者對於人性的黑暗面、人際關係等著墨蠻多，基本上古谷實的作品對於人性正向沒有太多的激勵面，如果真的要看點激勵人心的，可以看看井上雄彥的「Real」，會落淚的!

…恩，聽點激勵人心的。

The Killers最近發了一片新單曲《Human》，維持一貫的曲風，雖然有點pop，我還是很愛這樣的殺手。

歌詞中，不斷的重複唱著「Are we human? Or are we dancer?」

我自己解讀是覺得，「Are we human?」可能在表達身為人類的我們，該是天生富有同情心的，對每件事都抱有感情，而不是像「Or are we dancer?」，自顧自地跳舞的舞者，這是聽完我想像到的畫面，但也許根本不是這麼一回事。
　　
　　

今天開始消化Arctic Monkeys的第一張專輯《Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not》，從第一首開始就是一顆大炸彈阿，超炸的能量，炸裂成13首歌，變成蜂炮繼續亂竄! 帶著耳機聽，耳邊聚集的高能量音壓，整個讓安逸日子過太久的耳膜狠狠的緊繃!

怎麼會這麼好聽阿!? 害我不知道要先推薦哪一首歌(其實好像也不必，都出兩年了，大家早就聽爛了!) 但是，我覺得他媽的很幸運就是他們只出兩張專輯，這讓音樂消化慢到不行的腦子感到無比快樂!
　　
　　

驅策著Punk-Funk的第一首歌《The View From The Afternoon》，很明顯就是精神好的歌阿! 虧我還在MSN掛著「請給我精神好的歌!」還沒半個人鳥，現在這就叫踏破鐵鞋無覓處 (這兩天很愛用成語諺語的)，歌曲中間還開你一個玩笑，讓你以為結束可以喘口氣喝口水，結果馬上又嗨下去，沒辦法，嘴巴含著水繼續再HIGH個一小節吧!!

　　
　　

接著是邁進單曲榜首位的《I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor》延續第一首的流暢興奮節奏，開始邀請大家跳舞，跳不起來的人記得和大家大合唱，腳記得打節拍!
　　
　　

《Fake Tales Of San Francisco》一直讓我聯想到Red Hot Chili Peppers的《Dani California》，是首爽快Disco-Punk作品。
　　
　　

沙啞慵懶的慢板作品《Riot Van》則讓我想到立體聲音響的主唱Kelly的嗓音，雖是短短的旋律，但該挑動內心的一點也沒少，很適合想些回憶的歌曲。
　　
　　

《Mardy Bum》好聽到痛哭流涕阿! 聽了那麼多高能量的歌曲，到這首歌迅速清乾身體內過多的輻射，還你一個乾淨清爽!
　　
　　
　　

猴子們真的是超棒的! 雖然我不懂為什麼他們要住北極，明明就在英國。網路上一片讚揚的捧誇，已經不需要再大力的錦上添花，他們從今天開始將會是我最棒的起床曲之一!

嚇到了，原來不樂有個悲傷的恰到好處的情歌，有個人說是因為這首歌不像他們以往的青春洋溢，難怪。

開頭一陣一陣的扭曲吉他聲棒透了，就是這個聲音告訴我「欸，該注意一下Blur了吧？」哈哈哈! 其實Damon的聲音一直都不怎麼吸引我，不過這首歌聽了我倒是無話可說，好聽! 旋律伴合淡淡的憂傷，帶著有種被放逐的情緒，讓這首歌變成分手系列的金曲。

這首歌的背後有個三角戀大八卦! 可是我一直到昨天為止，我一點都不知情! 還是不樂迷指點我迷津才了解這個灑狗血的八卦劇。如果有人跟我一樣，已經過了十幾年了還是不知道這個八卦的話，可以先來看一下女主角Justine Frischmann的wiki，請直接跳到Suede那段，她可是Brett的前任女友阿! 後來分開之後，就和Damon在一起，到最後兩人長跑了好幾年還是分開了，於是Damon就寫了這首歌給她，關於這段可以看看這篇文章《No Distance Left To Run》。

(當時Brett寫了一首Animal Lover來祝福，而Damon則回敬了Charmless Man來落井下石。)

期待八百萬年的綠洲專輯新專輯《Dig Out Your Soul》終於到手了! 這次專輯由綠洲自身的廠牌Big Brother作全球發行，在這一個月以來的密集宣傳、巡迴，全球的綠洲迷早就已經興奮度破表!

之前已經先偷跑介紹了三首Oasis的歌曲，詳細請看以下的track list，之後等我聽了幾遍再介紹更多的內容!

這次專輯的風格很不一樣，開頭幾首帶有點早期的特色，接著幾首被迷幻、中東異國氛圍籠罩，聽第一遍的時候會忍不住在幾首歌曲上逗留一會，可是我心裡想不行! 我要先完完整整聽完一遍! 可是還是抵擋不了~

我訂購了歐版和日版的專輯，歐版已送達，日版則還未，大概禮拜一就能入手! 日版有多兩首bonus哦! 提到日版，今天聽到一個很棒的事! 從綠洲版的版友得知，他在日本購買綠洲新專輯時，唱片行排起長長的人龍! 這在台灣是絕跡的現象阿! 另外他還說，在買完回家的途中還沒拆封聆聽，在大街小巷的店家已經不停播送綠洲的歌曲，所以在還沒到家之前已經全部都聽完了! 哈哈哈! 真是羨慕!

最近聽了三個K團: Kasabian、Kyte、Kaiser Chiefs，前兩個我好喜歡，一直給我驚喜；後面那個有小小的驚艷，但是喜歡的歌就是少了點。

Kasabian，來自於英國Leicester。首張同名專輯《Kasabian》愛歌超多，整張專輯非常完美，從頭到尾鋪陳的非常順暢，難以想像是剛冒出頭的小夥子的debut album!

專輯中的開場歌曲：《Club Foot》，生猛有力，新進樂團的蘊蓄多年的力量一股腦的暴發，帶到副歌的(Uuh! ah ah ah aha)，讓人情不自禁的跟著Uuh! 值得一看的是，Oasis的Noel Gallagher曾幫Kasabian站台表演，在NME十週年表演時。

接著《Processed Beats》上陣，吉他手Serge放下吉他和充滿個人魅力的主唱Tom一搭一唱的美妙復古節奏，讓人肩膀不停跟著他們的手勢搖擺!

《Reason Is Treason》則是轟動的熱門單曲，節奏超強烈，Tom在Live中展現絕佳的主唱魅力，是演唱會的超級勁歌，無腦地跟著大叫K-I-L-L!

《L.S.F.》(Lost Souls Forever)也是熱門單曲，歌曲編寫流暢朗朗上口，無怪乎是演唱會上歌迷大合唱的指定曲，觀看07年在Glaston上的表演，就可見Kasabian最近幾年人氣的扶搖直升!

＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝

06年發行的第二張專輯《Empire》，大致上承襲首張專輯的曲風，但爆點少了點，初聽給人不若第一張專輯來的精采，但撇開第一張的刻板印象，聽久了就會發現這張其實很不賴，非常耐聽!

首發單曲《Empire》評價兩極，初聽到會覺得好聽! 但少了點什麼? 可能期待感太高導致不平衡，不過能給歌迷有這份濃烈期待感，正好證明了他們成功的打響名號! 接下來就看他們第三張專輯能端上來什麼菜來餵飽歌迷的胃了。Glaston的現場，在主唱Tom的煽動下，氣氛也相當的熱烈!

第二首《Shoot The Runner》則是這張專輯我心目中的TOP 1! 無論在編曲、旋律、MV都無懈可擊，MV非常特別，是會讓人眼睛為之一亮的驚奇影片! Live演出的興奮度直接爆表，看完這麼精采的影片還能處變不驚的話，快去檢查交感神經有沒有問題! Shoot shoot the runner!!

第四首《Me Plus One》的結尾很奇妙，是以很耳熟的管絃樂的旋律作終結，不知道為什麼我一直聯想到踢躂舞的曲子? 是類似嗎?

第七首《By My Side》這首，唱著”by my side… come on…” 這邊! Tom那種桀傲不遜的嗓音超級酷似Liam!

《Stuntman》前奏的迷幻電音鋪陳很久，讓你酥酥麻麻的時候，再用強勁的鼓點喚醒大家! 聆聽的時候，一直覺得旋律非常耳熟，不停的一直反覆聽，還是回想不起來任何有關的音樂片段，後來問了逃跑人，感覺是The Killers翻唱的《Shadowplay》相似度最高! 應該是鼓點的節奏相似，又帶著復古的搖滾味的關係。

Kasabian他們有自己的樂隊風格，他們有個魅力十足的主唱，他們有個漂亮的起步，他們同時也被Oasis賞識，Noel跨刀和他們同台表演過幾次，他們也為Oasis演唱會暖場過，所以他們可能有個大好的未來等著他們，目前已發行兩張專輯的他們有著還不錯的成績，接下來差不多也來到他們該發行的第三張專輯的時間了，拭目以待!

《I’m Outta Time》，是Oasis新大碟中預定發行的第二首單曲，正確發行日期還未能得知，根據消息透露，Oasis已在Cotswolds 的村莊 Bourton-on-the-Water 完成影片拍攝。

Liam譜寫的《I’m Outta Time》，無論是旋律、歌詞還是背景都直接命中我最愛的點。相較於在巨人肩膀時期初次創作的《Little James》，或是異類效應中的輕快雀躍的hit單曲《Songbird》，明顯的看出Liam於寫曲功力的進步，連一向言詞尖銳的頭子也稱讚Liam在新專輯《Dig Out Your Soul》的貢獻。

《I’m Outta Time》述說了對藍儂的懷念，也許有人會提說老梗，老是只會提藍儂。當然，雖然我不實際的瞭解Liam，但好幾年來聽他的歌、看他的專訪，我能感受到他對藍儂的特殊情感。

每個人心中都可能存在某個值得一再懷念的人，或許是親人、朋友、甚至是位名人，他存在我們任何的人心中，有他不動的位置，或許還是內心的靠山。Noel說這首歌是獻給淑女們的，這或許也在另外一面表達了女人在男人心裡頭的重要地位，雖然我也不暸Noel吐出的真正涵義是什麼。

開頭旋律一下，上一曲《The Shock of the Lightning》帶來的猛烈衝勁像撞到太極一樣，瞬間頹軟倒地。它不悲傷過頭，輕輕淡淡的提到過去，曲末思緒拉回到現實；另外值得一提的是，Liam的歌聲好比當年，似乎恢復了元氣，讓這首曲子更完美。

之前，在親切的Travis來台灣演唱之前，這篇文章已動筆，原本想留待演唱會完當晚再發文，希望能以這首《One Night》呼應Travis給我們台灣的英搖迷一晚的精彩演出。但，當時剛回來的興奮心情滿溢，這首帶點淡淡憂傷的歌曲，就暫時被我壓在draft裡。

時間轉瞬過了將近兩個月，當初一起看演唱會的其中一位朋友已不情願到了對岸，現在正被對岸綁約中，而其他的朋友開學、工作，各忙各的。… 當我們剛習慣了某樣的生活，要從裡面抽拔出來會很困難，我們需要時間適應，《One Night》變身一道梯子，他搭起了我溝通不良的生活。

我想，不曉得有多少人會注意這埋在《The Boy With No Name》非常不起眼的第八首，這個中國人認為幸運，西方人覺得無意的數字位置。是Fran輕又自然的假音引起我注意的，之後好幾天我反覆聆聽，雖然編曲沒有很特別，曲風是他們原本擁有的，憂傷的心情歌總是能抓住我的心。

主唱Fran重複唱著的One Night兩字音節，有滿滿無奈的口吻，像是要挽回改變的一切，卻又點無能為力。

很喜歡封面，看樣子應該是精選，想入門帶有英倫風的好聽瑞典團Kent的樂迷，可以注意一下 !

Kent，MySpace，進入之後，推薦聆聽《747》。

十年多前，Radiohead為援助戰區兒童組織「War Child」所創作的《Lucky》，對我來說是充滿著畫面的歌曲。

不可否認，身在台灣的我們這一代，不能完全體會戰爭的可怕，就連台灣的新聞媒體對於國外的戰亂也不怎麼關心著墨。有時看CNN或Discovery之類的頻道，看見彈如雨下空襲的夜晚，父母抱著兒女驚慌的逃難，心情都會異常沉重，這是噩夢阿。還有，每次看到狂熱的愛國者，以行動加入戰爭表示對國家的忠心，真的覺得這很糟，這無疑是逼著將國家中的某一族群架上刑台，他們身不由己，他們被迫加入參與，他們無法為自己的生命掌控多點權益。
　　

「跟他們比較起來，我們幸運多了」，話雖實在，我們了解知足，但我覺得很不應該說出口，因為這也不是他們所願意的人生遭遇。
　　

Radiohead，作的這曲《Lucky》，不曉得是不是帶著反諷的意味，我直覺認為是。我支持反戰，對某些反戰的歌曲，有莫名的喜愛，Ian Brown -《Illegal Attacks》 / 3 doors down -《When I’m gone》。

最近拿到的夢幻寶物，Definitely Maybe的2CD限量版，當年只在澳洲發行，開心斃了! Bonus disc裡面有三首曲子：

Q 十月份，有綠洲的特別專訪，厚達50頁的量，也是夢幻到不行，雙封面雖然很騙錢，但是我還是栽進去了，我買了Liam版本。但是，Noel，不是我不愛你，你知道你們那邊的雜誌運過來，價格翻了一倍。

下周五新的NME到貨，到時有附贈Oasis的CD，看來＄是留不住了，嘖嘖，他們總是掌控了我的心。

最近聽了一個好聽的Indie團，【Electric President】，路線走的是叮叮噹噹的電子合成音效和著民謠曲風，沒有完全的冷冰冰電子味，專輯一路聽下來，清新偶而來點暖和的音色，在每一個節奏點都會小小觸動你一下。

他的花招不多，但同樣的手法只變一次。就像個專業魔術師，層出不窮的驚奇讓你目不轉睛，他手拿魔術棒，左點右點，吉他絃聲響起，三角鐵叮噹，鼓點迸出，Magic Show!

同名專輯，首先揭開序幕的《Good Morning, Hypocrite》，開頭的喃喃自語，中段的思索，停頓幾個轉角的無力傾訴，最終拉起簾幕的自省。一層層的堆疊，平順的在旋律中看故事。

The Killers又一次勾住我了！

《Read My Mind》來自於殺手第二張專輯《Sam’s Town》，它流行的曲調，有一個活力十足節奏推動這首歌，雖說流行但一點也不膩，無怪主唱Brandon視這首「小倆口鬧脾氣」的歌為殺手有史以來最棒的歌。

每首歌都有他的效用，《Read My Mind》雀躍熱血的音樂旋律，是趕跑我「Monday blue」的最佳良藥! 只要聽了它，公司的閒語、刁難都瞬間變成屁，很好很好。

哦，對了! 裡面有幾個大走音唱腔，真的太酷了! 我很佩服他這麼帶種，因為我猜沒有人敢跟他一樣這樣唱，哈哈哈!

MV是在日本拍攝的，將他們在日本遊玩的鏡頭拍攝下來，裡頭有個動感的華麗衣裳大叔我很喜歡，他是個逗趣的傢伙，哈哈哈! 和小朋友玩潑落葉，讓我覺得他們好親切、好善良，雖然我知道這是在演戲。另外，其實MV內容跟歌詞一點關連都沒有，是支沒什麼意義的錄影帶。

歌詞裡頭，主要是在述說男生不願意離開待了許久的小鎮，而另一半不喜歡他的不爭氣，而執意要搬離小鎮。男生覺得另一半根本不瞭解他的真正內心，所以不停反覆唱著「Can you read my mind?」或許，Brandon是把自己的背景放在這個角色裡面，因為他自己也是來自於拉斯維加斯的一個偏僻小鎮裡，當然，只有他自己最瞭。

孩子王(Liam Gallagher)，最近接受一家雜誌的專訪，還蠻有趣的! 他總是口無遮攔的胡說八道一通! 哈哈哈哈哈哈!

下面是訪問內容。

森克譯：

Hi Liam! You’re abit older now, so have you given up fighting the paparazzi?

I’ve calmed down, man. But it depends how close they get to me. If they’re in my f***ing space then they’re going to get a dig! Sometimes, they come up and take the p*ss and that’s when I react.

記者問Liam，你都老大不小了，你有想過放棄和狗仔們的交戰嗎？

Liam：我已經夠平靜了! 狗仔們就他媽的別再惹我了!

Do you regret any of the mad stuff you have got up to in the past?

No, I’d do it all the f***ing same, man. Even the bad times were worth it because I’m still alive. I’ve got f***ing money in the bank, I’ve got a nice house and my family are f***ing happy. It could be f***ing worse, couldn’t it? It’s all good. How crazy was it to be in Oasis when you first started? I can’t remember much about that whole f***ing thing – I was very drunk a lot of the time. I’d read some things and think, “Did that really happen?” and then I’d see the pictures. It was wild. It was life on the f***ing edge. But we weren’t “Guns N’ Roses wild” because were a different kind of band. We never fell over drunk because we like our clothes too much. And I’ve never poured Guinness or Jack Daniels on my head because we’re not f***ing Beavis and Butt-head. But we had a good time. Oh yeah, man!

記者問，有對過去瘋狂的事物感到悔恨嗎?

Liam：不! 我從不後悔! 即使是最糟糕的階段也有價值，因為我還活得好好的阿!
我存了一堆錢在銀行，我也有超棒的大房子和家庭，我他媽的無敵快樂阿!

我記不清楚在樂隊中幹了哪些事，大部分時間我都醉茫茫。有時候想著一些事，”這真的發生過嗎?” 結果看到照片，才知道是活生生的事情。

What about drugs? Was there lots of that going on?

Yeah, but none of us ever done f***ing smack and none of us have ever been in the f***ing Priory, like all these little f***ing idiots today. They have one little line and they are all in the Priory.

談談毒品吧? 過去量很大吧?

Liam：對，但我們之間從來沒有試過海洛因，也沒有人進去過”Priory (位居倫敦的毒品勒戒所)”，我們不像現今一堆蠢蛋那樣龜在Prioty裡。

What do you think of the current music scene?

There’s too much of it – its fast food music. You make one f***ing hit and everyone thinks, “Yeah, they’re f***ing great”. Its like having a McDonald’s – by the time you’ve finished, you feel guilty because it weren’t that f***ing good. I’m like, “Where’s the Sunday roast?” I like my records played more than once.

你對現在音樂界的狀況有什麼想法?

Liam：充斥著太多速食音樂。你創作了一個熱門歌而且讓每個人都覺得，”靠! 他們屌爆了!” 這搞得像麥當勞一樣。但這個總有一天結束，你會自覺慚愧，因為他們根本就爛透了!

我的比較像”Sunday roast (典型英國星期天吃的餐，以慢烤的肉為主食)” 。

What’s the most extravagant thing you’ve ever bought?

I bought a Bristol, which is one of the last hand-made English cars ever. It’s a top car. I’ve got a nice apartment and a gaff in the country. But apart from that I am not really that bling.

你曾經買過最奢侈的東西是什麼?

Liam：我買了一輛Bristol的車，他曾經是最後一輛手工打造的英國車，是一輛高級車。

Do you still think Oasis are the biggest and best band ever?

Well, when we said that, that was us just being cocky little b*stards, wasn’t it. Maybe we’re not the f***ing best ever but we’re one of the greatest bands of the last 10 years. I don’t see anyone who’s set it alight more than us for the last 10 years. We burnt the candles at both ends, had some f***ing sh*t things happen to us, but we got through it. To me, that’s what it’s all about. Half the stuff that goes down in other bands these days is nothing. They play it too f***ing safe. So, yeah, we’re the b*llocks and we remain the b*llocks.

你仍然認為Oasis是最棒最好的樂隊嗎?

Liam：當然，可是當我們說這些，有人就會覺得我們是自大的混蛋。也許我們不是有史以來最棒的，但是我們絕對是最近十年間最偉大的樂隊之一!

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

It’s got to be the City of Manchester stadium gig, when we played three nights in front of people we went to school with – people who’d rip your f***ing head off if they got you on your own, but who still loved the music. To play in front of your own f***ing crowd, with 60,000 people coming to see you, is pretty special. But getting a record deal was the f***ing most important thing because that allowed us to drive your own car.

到目前為止，什麼階段是你最精采的時刻?

Liam：在曼徹斯特演唱會的時候，當時我們在大家面前表演了三個晚上，有六萬人們來看我們表演，這很特別。

What would you be if you weren’t a musician?

F**k knows! I did want to be a footballer, but I didn’t have the discipline to give up the fags or booze. And I couldn’t see the point of making all that money and not being allowed to get off your f***ing head. Apart from that, be God, maybe? That’d be a good job. That’s the next highest one, isn’t it? Being in Oasis, then f***ing being God!

如果你不是玩音樂的，你會成為什麼?

Liam：他媽的誰曉得!? 我會想當個足球員，才不要成為變成其他有的沒的。除了這些之外，也許會成為神? 這倒是不錯的工作。

Well, didn’t you once say you wanted to change the world?

I don’t think we said we’d change the world, I think we just said we’re the best f***ing band in the world. And I don’t think we’ve changed the world, because look at the state it’s in! But we have changed our world, changed our lives and changed quite a few other people’s f***ing lives, too. Even to this day, there are loads of people out there that come up and say, “You changed my f***ing life.” That’s nice, man. I’m happy with that.

恩，你曾說過你想要改變這個世界嗎?

Liam：我不覺得我們說過那樣的話，但是我們的確說過我們是這世界上最棒的樂隊! 而且我也不覺得我們可以改變這個世界。但是我們改變了我們”自己”的世界，改變了我們的生活，而且也改變了一些人的生活。直至今日，很多人跟我們說，”你改變了我的生活!”，老兄，這很棒。聽到這些話，我很得意。
